The things I wanted to talk about yesterday are still relevant today. The first of those is making cold brew. It's honestly really simple and easy without grinding coarse if you're willing to just wait for the coffee to slowly go through a filter (or use a fining agent but that's its own hastle). I've literally just been putting the grounds and the water in a mason jar and leaving it in the fridge overnight. It's really good too.

The other thing is Iron Nest. I played the demo last night, and I liked it enough to just buy the game outright and play through it today. I got most of the way through the campaign today, but I also feel like I might have played enough to tire myself out on the game. You play as the operator for a massive piece of mobile artillery, and your goal is to just do artillery things. You get orders to shoot targets, and you go through the whole process of aiming and firing. The core loop is obviously repetitive, but the campaign missions mix it up enough to where it doesn't get boring. There's one where you need to intercept a train, so you have to specifically time your shot (and you also need to account for the travel time of the projectile as the train actually moves). There's another where the calculator you use for determinig the firing angle is broken, so you either have to figure out the formula yourself or just determine the ranging through trial and error. Idk it's really fun I might just go back to it tomorrow, I think I might have talked myself back into it.
